How is passion expressed? You can try it with numbers. However, 560 hp and 4.2 seconds for 0-100 km/h reveal just a fraction of what constitutes the fascination of the BMW M6 Coupé. One look at the aerodynamically optimised body gives you an idea of what makes M engineers tick. With its imposing presence, it demonstrates directly just how much motorsport DNA is in this sports car. This is also reflected in the cockpit. Containing exclusive materials from the BMW Individual Collection if desired, it exudes sportiness right down to the last detail. All this puts the BMW M6 Coupé in pole position for impressive engineering. The same is true of the agile M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine. With technologies such as the Active M Differential and high-precision M suspension, this centrepiece is a perfectly attuned unit. And with the optional Competition package, the BMW M6 Coupé gets even more racetrack feeling. With power boosted to 575 hp and driving dynamics optimised in many other details, taking things to the limit is more tempting than ever before.

Converts power into amazement: The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine is the crowning glory of the M power units. Its enormous power of 560 hp (412 kW) and 680 Nm is available at all times thanks to the innovative TwinScroll turbocharging concept and can be further increased to 575 hp with the optional Competition package.
This is possible due to the combination of high engine speeds, turbocharging and technological highlights such as Valvetronic and High Precision Injection. And full torque goes on stream from approx. 1,500 rpm, charting an impressive output curve of virtually linear power delivery −as well as putting a smile on the driver's face. The M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine demonstrates that power and efficiency are by no means mutually exclusive with its intelligent BMW EfficientDynamics technologies such as Brake Energy Regeneration. These make for an average fuel consumption of just 9.9 litres of petrol per 100 kilometres.
